Daily Deal sites are changing the way consumers shop but how are they affecting our economy???
Because of the advantages of Daily Deals sites which is enjoyed by its consumers and business owners, its popularity rapidly increases.
Daily deal sites, if you aren't familiar with them, it offers service for its clients a great deal on products and services in their neighbouring area. The each day deal site markets their net site with the vendor's offers on the internet; free to the seller. Clients register with the site and give the site permission to send an e-mail daily; allowing the site to market to consumers every day. The deals are offered for short periods of time or require a maximum number of people to buy the product before the deal is on. There's various ways that the offers can be constructed. Usually, the consumer must make a choice to buy immediately or miss the deal.
It is very necessary for every vendors (businesses that make the offers) to suggest on every day deal sites in the event that they have numerous products or require clients to visit their place of business multiple times. This business needs quantity and stand to reason that the more consumer are aware of their business, the more business they are likely to get. They enjoy availing the free promotion on the net and most businesses don't have the time or the capability to advertise on the internet. They need and need to concentrate their energies on their business because that is where their expertise and passion lies.
In business internet promotion is very important , the advantage of this is it brings awareness to the business. It isn't to have a sign outside your door because people are always dashing. They could drive by your establishment every day and not notice your business. I always think years ago, when I had a retail food establishment that had been a bank prior to renovating the space, a men came in to do banking after I had been operating for years. It was funny because they had his deposit slip prepared and was so shocked that they weren't a bank, they kept showing me his deposit slip. I look into it to put him out of his misery. It also, begs the query about how often they do banking but that is for another news story.
Giving consumers a transaction on a product makes sense to the business owner for several reasons. The free endorsement is great for businesses. Clients open their every day agreement e-mail every morning and are made aware of the vendor's business; even if the consumer doesn't take advantage of the offer. Three times a consumer takes advantage of the deal, they go to the vendor's place of business and the seller has the chance to sell more products and gain a new customer who, hopefully, will come back to buy more products.
Consumers are not concerned about &, therefore does not query, the country of origin of the deal sites because they must worry about their own finances; as all of us do.
I am asking that you query it now.
The every day deal sites charges the vendors a hefty commission (in most cases) when deals are sold. If the deal site is owned by a company that is outside the country where the deal is offered, it makes sense that commission is going to the other country.
Take Canada & the United States as an example. If a deal site, owned by a U.S. company, offers a deal for a Canadian company to Canadian consumers, that commission will go to the U.S.
Does this mean that Canadians are working in Canada & employing U.S. citizens?
For example, if a Canadian restaurant offers $40.00 worth of food for $10.00 to entice consumers to try their restaurant & the restaurant pays a U.S. deal site $4.00 (of the $10.00) for selling the deal, the $4.00 goes to the U.S. company.
This tiny example doesn't sound devastating but multiple it by the hundreds of thousands of deals offered every day; the results of buying deals from every day deal sites controlled by foreign corporations must adversely affect the economies of the countries where the offer is.
In closing, I am truly hoping that both the vendors making offers & the consumers that are taking advantage of the offers make positive that the every day deal site is owned by a corporation that is domestic to their country.
Since I am Canadian, I would love Canadians to research every day deal sites & buy deals from sites owned by Canadian corporations to find local deals. every day deal site in the Toronto area iswww.dealsfiredup.com.
